Aurora's Cynthia Gonzalez Inducted into Aurora University chapter of Sigma Delta Pi

On Tuesday, April 23, Cynthia Gonzalez of Aurora was inducted into the Aurora University chapter of Sigma Delta Pi.

Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, was established on November 14, 1919, at the University of California Berkley. The society promotes excellence and leadership among students studying Spanish at an advanced level. To be eligible a student must have completed a minimum of three years of college Spanish, have an average grade point average of 3.0 or higher in all Spanish courses, rank in the upper 35 percent of their class, have completed at least three semesters of college work, and be of good moral character.
