Maggie Cooper of Indianapolis named to Aurora University Homecoming court

Aurora University student Maggie Cooper of Indianapolis was elected Homecoming queen during the 2011 festivities earlier this month.

Cooper, a senior special education major, presided over the weekend events with the other members of the AU Homecoming court and was honored during halftime of the Spartan football team's 33-14 win on Oct. 15. Two members of each AU class were elected to the court.

Aurora University is an inclusive community dedicated to the transformative power of learning. Approximately 4,400 degree-seeking students are enrolled each year on the university's Illinois and Wisconsin campuses, and the university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association to award degrees at the baccalaureate, master's and doctoral levels.
