Sarah Aspel of Lockport Honored with One of Top Aurora University Student Awards

Aurora University senior Sarah Aspel of Lockport, Ill., was presented one of the top annual student awards during Honors Convocation on April 20.

Aspel, an athletic training major, received the National Association for Sport and Physical Education Major of the Year, presented by the AU College of Education to an outstanding student majoring in physical education, kinesiology, exercise science or another sports-related discipline.

A total of 15 AU students were honored during the event for their academic achievements and campus contributions during the 2011-2012 school year.
